This RAOC (Royal Army Ordnance Corps) Memorial Poppy is a veteran-made tribute created to honour the service, skill, and legacy of those who served in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps.

Featuring a representation of the RAOC cap badge alongside a hand-painted red poppy, this memorial reflects the Corps’ important role in supplying, equipping, and sustaining the British Army.

The Royal Army Ordnance Corps was responsible for providing weapons, ammunition, equipment, clothing, and stores, and later became part of the Royal Logistic Corps in 1993.

Each piece is carefully 3D printed and hand-finished in the UK by veterans, with close attention paid to detail, presentation, and balance. The design is deliberately understated, allowing the symbolism of the badge and poppy to stand to attention without unnecessary distraction.

About the Royal Army Ordnance Corps

The Royal Army Ordnance Corps played a central role in keeping the British Army supplied and equipped in both peace and war. Its roots stretch back through earlier ordnance organisations, and the Corps itself was granted the title “Royal” in 1918 before later becoming one of the forming corps of the Royal Logistic Corps in 1993.

The Corps was closely associated with the storage, issue, and management of military equipment and supplies, making it an essential part of Army logistics and support.

This memorial pays tribute to those who served in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps and honours their contribution to British military history, even if you do know them as the Rag and Oil Company!
