She was the nations Queen but for the military she was the boss, the one that put you at ease with her great sense of humour. Many people have had the pleasure of meeting the late Queen, but I think the best stories are those where the Queen was not on official duty. I love the tail of her out walking at Balmoral when an American couple can upon her and her butler. They asked if she lived near Balmoral in which the Queen replied yes, they went on to ask her if she ever meet the Queen, she replied no but then pointed to her butler and said be he had lots of times.
